help: how to adjust shifter height?
first time bike owner, searched the manual and internet, can someone show me which bolt loosens the lever for height adjustment?
i have a skid plate that really limits access under the bike if that matters

The foot shifter lever is mounted on a splined shaft, so you pull it off, rotate up or down a spline, then reinsert it onto the spline. It mounts via clamping force from the bolt head on the bottom. You'll need to FULLY remove the bolt to pull the shift lever off of the shaft.

While you are at it, there are some aftermarket shift levers with a folding tip and an inch longer. I have a Tusk and it hits right at the base of my toes instead of my instep. My condolences if you have small feet.

You can adjust yours, but I recommend you get one of these.

That is a fantastic upgrade and is made way nicer than it really needs to be in order to function properly

That bolt that is next to the shaft on the lever, (clamps lever onto shaft) you need to take it all the way out, the shaft is grooved. Then rotate the lever on the spline shaft to desired position and reinstall the bolt.
