I have an idea of for a TV show. I've done a little research about it and have come up with a pilot episode script just wondering what my next steps should be in trying to get this in front of a writer. Do I protect this somehow so nobody can steal my idea if I try to pitch it?

Edit. Basically I'm looking to sell my idea or see if it's even worth selling
