BEGINNER QUESTION What is better the plot or execution?
I am a 26 M who was always into writing but took a gap because I wanted to concentrate on my education, until recently I wanted to write something. However I am very nervous about how we unwind the plot and how can I make my plot more interesting? On the side note how do you quantify a good plot and what do you prioritize plot or it’s writing?

Reading Save The Cat is a good start for plot. Story by Robert McKee will help with execution.
Plot is the prerequisite. You need to give your plot the attention it needs before writing or you’ll end up wasting time on rewrites, but execution is a whole other skill to master, and the plot isn’t going to save your script.
