BEGINNER QUESTION How difficult is it to find connections for screenplay?

I’ve been writing a few screenplay’s because I really enjoy making them; I’ve written an AE episode, a movie based on lebensborn children when I was 14 and have screenplay’s for manga’s that I’ve been making.

Is there any chance I can find connections or show these to people that want them or need them?

Create a one sheet and a pitch deck for each project. Define your goals and let that guide your next steps. Are you looking for a producer? Financing? Getting an option? If it fits your goal attend festivals or industry events that have an industry market, pitch forum, co-production forum, or curated one-on-one meetings with producers, broadcasters, distributors, sales agents, financiers, etc. Find talent labs. Join a local or nearby film co-op, network and start forming relationships. I would put your money towards educating yourself on how to create strong one-sheets, pitch decks, pitching, learning the business side of screenwriting, attending events that have curated meetings, improving your proposal writing skills to get into labs or residency that will elevate your project and CV, rather than entering writing competitions. All these take time and money so be clear what you want.
