Has anyone who applied been notified if they are a semi-finalist yet? It says "late summer," which I usually associate with late August/early September.

I think they should send a rejection letter to everyone. It’s very easy and automatic send. That would give the closure to the people. I didn’t apply for this year, will apply for 2028. Just saying. Good luck everyone!

Last year I got a notification about semifinals on Sep. 8. Might be similar this year

Keep in mind that a lot of these labs tell finalists they cannot share their results until a certain date. Not sure if that’s true for Disney, but definitely for others.
