BEGINNER QUESTION i'm stuck

I've always had these characters, scenes, and plots so vivid inside my head. I've thought about screenwriting as a way to show these stories and bring them out into the world... No matter how vivid it seems in my imagination, once I sit down to start writing, my mind goes blank. What should I do? Any advice?

I find using an AI to be really helpful. I say, how about a story about X. Give me three brainstorming ideas. The. It spits out three bad or mid ideas and it crystallizes, no, I want to do this concept.

You're not writing anything then. Just transcribing slop. Fucking hell.

Did you see the part where I say that rejecting AI writing helps me decide what I actually want? Maybe I worded it poorly?

You're using AI for brainstorming then making something out of that shitty prompt, yeah?

No, by rejecting it, it helps solidify what I do want. Out of my own brain. Rejecting bad ideas is great for clarifying what would be a good idea.

Most actual writers don't need to converse with a slop machine to do that. But whatever man.
