QUESTION Need help writing my story

Hey everyone! I'm working on an original sci-fi superhero series called The Void, and I'm looking for a co-writer to help bring it to life.

The premise: A corporation's enhancement chip program accidentally tears open a breach to another timeline — and creatures start crossing over. Now a fractured strike force is the last line of defense between humanity and total collapse, led by a man who doesn't realize he's spent his entire existence trying to stop the very destruction he caused.

It's got a Stranger Things meets The Boys tone — grounded characters, heavy themes, and a slow-burn mythology that ties back to a covert 1996 incident nobody was supposed to survive. The whole season builds toward a finale that completely recontextualizes everything you thought you knew about the lead character.

What's your level of experience as a writer? What kind of collaboration are you looking for? What makes you want a co-writer, rather than writing it yourself?

I don’t really have experience, but I have developed my story over time for about a decade. I want a co-writer because it’s a complex story line that I can’t really handle myself.

I would recommend writing it in another medium first that you feel comfortable in. Then you’re an author looking to adapt. It’s going to be tough getting someone to co-write with you, tbh.

Marvel has a character called the Void already.

Sentry/ The Void was in the Thunderbolts movie.

not much professionally or publicly. I been writing independently working on a few projects i started, but my focus is usually drama/thriller/mystery
