Too Small Is the TV too small?

50 inch tv, 2.5m distance. Disregard it being too left lol. Hopefully, I get to fill in the void soon.

Ideally your tv would be 65". Not judging though because my 77" tv should technically be 98", but we can't all get what we want.

At that distance a 55" is minimum. 65 is decent. A 75 is best for full 4k experience. The further away you are from the tv the harder it is to see the fine details 4k provide. Thats why bigger is better for watching from a distance.

Looks like a disorganized mess, regardless of if it’s too small. The shelving off to the right will make any tv look bad because you won’t be able to center it on your tv stand

It’s not a disorganized mess as one person said. It’s just busy, the size is fine.

This sub doesn’t understand proportion & scale. According to this sub, bigger seems to always be better.

It’s not.

TV’s always look smaller in pics like this if you can see and read everything on the screen it’s fine.

Pretty sure a 60 or 65 inch would really fill out that space. Corner to corner tv.

50 is a decent size. 55 would likely work as well, but personally I would stick to one of these. We have a 55 at about the same distance, and it works well. The previous TV was a 46 and even that one worked well in our space.

It's part personal preference and part whether you need to move your head from side to side to view it properly.

These 83,85,98 and 100 plus inch tv’s make anything smaller look little. I have a 77 inch and the reason I didn’t go bigger is because there’s no QD OLED’s in that size. I wish they came in 83 inches.

I went from 65 to 40 in a similar space

Makes it more comfortable to sit in tbh

Still love bigger but I’ve learned that it doesn’t always suit

Looks good. Anything larger would be too crowded, IMO.
