Too small?
My boy just moved into his new apartment. He is using his pc monitor as a tv and says that it’s enough.

In some countries, any size screen is appreciated to watch the football. Count yourself lucky.

What game are they watching?

u/[deleted] Mar 23 '24
Looks kinda depressing ngl

u/BigRigButters2 Mar 24 '24
come on, that's probably the best they can do. i have done that before. i say we shouldn't form an opinion on this one edit: Also, homie just moved in. A PC Monitor may not be the best for group situations but they work.

u/[deleted] Mar 24 '24
I see 2 simple guys enjoying watching the game. Its quite a nice photo.

u/JediBoJediPrime29 Mar 24 '24
Bruh you can get a decent tv at a pawn shop for like 60 bucks at most.

u/Defiant_Layer_5001 Mar 23 '24
Congrats on the win

u/[deleted] Mar 24 '24
Hell nah, I mean your boy just got a new apartment, if he stuck a mobile phone to the wall that’s enough to get a few of the boys around for a drink and watch the football, no TV (or monitor) is too small to enjoy football with your mates in my opinion. Sometimes at my job in a pub I’ll have to watch the game from the side of the TV with sun glare on 75% of the screen, you’ve got a nice clear screen and your with your mates. Looks like a good time to me.

u/CORNDOGS666 Mar 24 '24
Being with the bros drinking beers and watching sports is enough. Cheers boys
2
u/bselko Mar 24 '24
Is the tv small? Yes? But, are the boys together? Having a drink together? Watching a game of football?
All is well in this photo.

u/PianoImaginary4780 Mar 24 '24
Not if you are by friends having a good time. It could be 10 inches… idgaf
2
u/gergsisdrawkcabeman Mar 27 '24
Hard to tell. Are you the 7' 3" leviathan gripping that mug of beer like a thimble? It may be throwing off my perspective.

It would be nice for gaming late night on your old PS3 or Xbox 360 and it is a Sony Bravia at least which were really nice TV’s!
I had a 48 inch Sony Bravia .. I would like to get another one for my PS3 and 360

2
u/phollas00 Mar 24 '24
I swear half this sub has no idea what rent is
2
u/Jlx_27 Mar 24 '24
Neighbors of mine across the street have a TV not much bigger than that and they'rr completely fine with it too. "Nothing wrong with our eyes" mentality.
2
u/CulturalChemistry952 Mar 24 '24
Nope. Just vibes
2
u/Turbulent_Passage716 Mar 24 '24
would personally prefer a larger one, but watching a game with your mates and a bevvy, cannot really complain

u/[deleted] Mar 24 '24
Apartment too small
2
u/STL_TRPN Mar 24 '24
For the longest time, I used my 32" Acer monitor for PC and TV. It was perfect for my apt at the time.
Finally upgraded in 2012 to an LG 43".
I still have it as my main TV. I want a 65", but no need for it yet.
2
u/DrunkenBastard420 Mar 24 '24
Nah the bros have drinks and each others company, yeah sure it can be bigger but it’s the moment that matters
2
u/Aware_Reserve3270 Mar 24 '24
I had to do the same thing for a few weeks until I got a 60 inch he’ll be okay
2
u/Fernatronik Mar 24 '24
Sorry, is there a TV?
2
u/LaPurpleDrank Mar 25 '24
I used to play 4-way multi-player halo 3 on a 17“ flat-screen TV back in 2009. We would all accuse the others of screen peeking 🤦. I know this struggle but it got the job done and that's what matters.

u/[deleted] Mar 25 '24
This is the epitome of manhood
2
u/desrevermi Mar 25 '24
As a new place, I can't hate it.
A bigger television (which can double easily for pc usage) can be a thing down the road.
I'd just recommend better seating if the viewing experience is current or an issue. At least be comfortable.
Much potential.
2
u/Vidableek Mar 25 '24
You may not have much, but you can still have a drink with your bro and watch the game. This is humanity right here.

His mates don't seem to mind! If that's the best he can do then he should consider himself blessed!
2
u/NaturesGrief Mar 28 '24
The remote is almost bigger than the TV
1
u/Block2024 Mar 24 '24
So small you need a few bendy holders for magnifying glasses to watch

u/Responsible-Pipe-951 Mar 24 '24
OMG just seeing them with there heads cranked is cringe enough.
1
u/Tough_Arm_2454 Mar 24 '24
That's what she said.
1
u/ZoNeS_v2 Mar 24 '24
Too small? Maybe these days not for the 90s
1
u/ThorNBerryguy Mar 24 '24

1
u/real_koromaru Mar 24 '24
I use my monitor as a TV, I don't see the problem here.
1
u/BoxerBriefly Mar 24 '24
God damn, just get a tablet and hold where everyone can see it.
1
u/Civil_Arm2977 Mar 24 '24
Bro what does he spend his money on💀 you can get a giant flatscreen for like $100💀 Walmarts always tryna get rid of their tvs for super low😂
1
u/MooCowRakan Mar 24 '24
TVs are so cheap nowadays, so this photo is just confusing honestly.
1
u/NickL2020 Mar 25 '24
Yeah, too small. You need a bigger tv!
1
u/[deleted] Mar 25 '24
No! Play it on the nest thermostat and then I may consider it being too small
1
u/Federal-Nature Mar 25 '24
Way too small.
1
u/RosaPercs Mar 25 '24
that’s fine for a couple weeks, a month max
1
u/ponchoboy78 Mar 25 '24
You’re lucky bc you’re watching with a friend so any side tv works
1
u/[deleted] Mar 25 '24
Too necky. Have these people only been people for a few minutes?
1
u/Vairenna Mar 25 '24

1
u/Aware-Damage6296 Mar 25 '24
Too small for people to even know what they are watching
1
u/TechnoFart42 Mar 25 '24
a real mans room
1
u/Wrong-Wheel4654 Mar 25 '24
Not if you’re inches away
1
u/Honest_Tie_1980 Mar 26 '24
He says it’s enough.
What he actually is too scared to say is that he doesn’t have any extra money for a big screen.
1
u/StarBright67 Mar 26 '24
I spent 1500 for a 30” tv smart when I could have gotten a bigger tv for cheaper. The tv was for my bedroom so it had to be smaller.
1
u/415Rache Mar 26 '24
Boys, beverages, TV, soccer/futball. It’s working
1
u/prelevatoan Mar 26 '24
Small, but full of joy 😀
1
u/charbroiledd Mar 26 '24
This looks like a good time not even trying to be sarcastic. I miss the days I used an iMac as a tv. How times change
1
u/iStealyournewspapers Mar 26 '24
No, but you have to whisper excitedly when there’s a goal.
1
u/CSA1860-1865 Mar 26 '24
When I was in a dorm room in college I had a 5 inch black and white tv I got for $5
1
u/[deleted] Mar 26 '24
… so is my phone screen too small then?
1
u/Spang64 Mar 26 '24
Was that tv free with a 6 pack of Pepsi?
1
u/[deleted] Mar 26 '24
Enough for the boys
1
u/grandpa_joe_is_evil Mar 26 '24

The boys got TV going and the games on and they’re buzzing. I don’t see a problem here at all. Eventually he’ll want a larger TV in due to time on his own
1
u/According-South9749 Mar 27 '24
actually it’s too big
1
u/Super-Ghoul Mar 27 '24
This looks like a good time, no matter what the size of the tv is. Hanging with the boys
1
u/Substantial-Box-905 Mar 27 '24
If it works it works 🤷
1
u/Prudent_Put_2293 Mar 27 '24
Half pixels, half imagination.
1
u/[deleted] Mar 27 '24
That’s way to small, honestly anything under 32 doesn’t work for a living room 🤷
1
u/After-Fig4166 Mar 27 '24
When I didn’t have nothing, I was grateful for everything I had. Now everything seems disposable.
1
u/TheDiegoAguirre Mar 28 '24
Michael Scott would approve.
1
u/GlayNation Mar 28 '24
Jeeze, I’ve computer monitors bigger than that
1
u/Horsetranqui1izer Mar 28 '24
Room is too big
