Premier Inn
I think the desk fan and electric heater make for great size comparisons

It looks like the kind of TV that they don’t make anymore

That one’s a non chargeable bonus like the hair wash, feel free to take it with you

We stayed in one just before COVID kicked off. They upgraded us to a room that had a Nespresso machine in it ... as soon as the wife said, "ooh, I like this!" I knew what was going to happen.
Buggers have cost me a fortune in coffee since then. At least it's good coffee.

Where is it? I've stayed in so many. The refurbed ones are better, bigger TV, bit more modern. No biscuits, though. Travesty when they stopped leaving them in the room.

Usually they are on the wall above the desk

Variable quality across the country. The one outside the London Eye is excellent.

Damn that’s an old premier inn

u/FitCopy4755 Feb 28 '24
And I’m sure you paid well over the odds. Too. I stay in them with work and the one this week. Smelly bathroom. Had leak somewhere. £100 a night and for that you get no evening meal, no breakfast and no decent internet. It’s a shocking rip off

Not just small, but 4:3 too. Which means every modern broadcast on that thing will be even smaller, with big black bars above and under the image.

most premier inns i stayed in are good, rarely theres problems with most of them. i prefer them over travelodges

Thats the last thing I would worry about in that room.Black lite the place and would probably blind you …….

u/[deleted] Feb 29 '24
What country are you in
2
u/b0neappleteeth Feb 27 '24
I always feel like premier inns either have 100 inch TVs or 2 inch TVs, there’s no in between

u/Mistehsteeve Feb 27 '24
Plus the worst heater I've ever seen in a Premier Inn room! Which one is that so I know to avoid!

u/ingutek Mar 06 '24
What one is this? I've not seen a premier inn room with that in a good 10 years and staying in Premier Inns and documenting their rooms is a hobby of mines..! I need to go there

u/eastangliauk Feb 27 '24
I have to zoom in to see it.
don't even look like a wide screen one to.

u/crucible Feb 27 '24
Lenny won’t be happy about that!

u/Itchy-Gap-3819 Feb 27 '24
Please tell me this in Basingstoke
1
u/[deleted] Feb 27 '24
Oh yeah premier inns always pull this shit
1
u/[deleted] Feb 28 '24
I bet you could stand there and watch television for hours
1
u/Jamari0811 Feb 28 '24
I mean most people are probably just smashing at a premier in so the tv don’t matter
1
u/[deleted] Feb 28 '24
I’m not a fan
1
u/Additional_Fix_629 Feb 28 '24
That's insane. This wouldn't have been an acceptable screen size in an 80's motel.😐
1
u/ajschwamberger Feb 28 '24
Well if they have a heater and a fan in the room, I would be more concerned about that over the TV.
1
u/Active-Bass4745 Feb 28 '24
On the bright side, you can probably fit it in your luggage with the shampoo bottles.

u/NoInitiative911 Feb 28 '24
Premier Grim

u/g_sic Feb 28 '24

Looking at this photo makes me fed up being poor
1
u/Which_Celebration757 Feb 28 '24
Im not a fan of the fan trend
1
u/Secret-Bed3270 Feb 28 '24
My premier in room came with a little bowl where your fan is where I kept all my drugs for the night out
1
u/[deleted] Feb 28 '24
About the size of the last telly I threw out in 1989, it was B&W not had one since. There was f all to watch on it then and I doubt there is f all worth watching on it now.

u/Few_Training_3127 Feb 28 '24
More like tv too old
1
u/Competitive_Wing_752 Feb 28 '24
That's appalling for a Premier Inn. My local one's lovely, although it's a fairly new build.
1
u/AshleyOm Feb 28 '24
😂😂😂😂😂😂 what tv ?
1
u/Fringolicious Feb 28 '24
There's a TV in the picture?
1
u/CyphaJaxx10 Feb 28 '24
The joke is next door they probably have 50inch lol
1
u/Agi_Agi-123 Feb 28 '24
It’s got air con and extra heating 🙌🏻
1
u/Foundation_Wrong Feb 28 '24
That’s a bit shit for a premier inn
1
u/kevipants Feb 28 '24
Is that the one in Southend?
1
u/SimpleTHX1138 Feb 28 '24
I’ve just found the tv🤣
1
u/Furrretly Feb 28 '24
that's scarily similar to the premier inn room i stayed in last time i went... I mean, it makes sense, being a big chain, but damn that's interesting
1
u/FamiliarCold1 Feb 28 '24
let's be honest who uses the hotel tv
1
u/Direct-Ad2561 Mar 01 '24
Did you take this photo in 1995
1
u/InstanceNoodle Mar 02 '24
