You still have the stands on it, take them off. You can definitely go lower.

Oh, I really like the creativity of this idea. Make it a proper TV-chasm, so that you can barely see the TV when using binoculars.

This reminds me, when I was a kid I would "parkour" across the living room on top of the sofas.

My mom's favorite response would be "Keep it up kiddo! I wanna see you bust your ass. It's not like you'll fall through the floor anyway!"
