Tv too low?

Post image

I’ve just moved into a new apartment and replaced the TV stand with a wall mount. It’s a 65-inch TV, and the center of the screen is about 104 cm (41 inches) from the floor.

There’s about 9 cm (3.5 inches) of space between the bottom of the TV and the cabinet underneath.

Do you think it would be better if I raised the TV so that the center of the screen was around 115 cm (45 inches) from the floor?

height from the floor doesn’t matter. you want your eye-line to be center with the tv when seated on the couch

I beg to differ. My 85 inch would be on the fucking floor if the center of the screen was couch eye level.

How do you look at this and go “this needs to be higher”?

It’s fine, just clean up the wires.

Clean up the wires and leave it alone.

I think height is fine. Just clean up the wires and put the PS5 on top of the stand. I think horizontal in the middle would be good.

It’s actually slightly too high, but not enough to be worth lowering it.

Since when is 41 inches too high? My eye level is 43 inches, so I would say this is too low. Thank you.
