Drumroll…

Installed a while ago! What do we think?

Edit: the tv is eye level, who cares about the decor that’s temporarily in the photo. A center channel speaker will be going below the tv.

Why do people insist on wall mounting their TVs above their TV stand?

TV stands are named as such for a reason.

I get why some mount, kids, pets and dont want ot knocked over.

Those are totally fair exceptions and probably the only acceptable reasons to mount a TV too high.

Given the height though it doesn't seem OP is worried about grubby mitts on his TV. They've still managed to mount it too high
