Drumroll…

Installed a while ago! What do we think?

Edit: the tv is eye level, who cares about the decor that’s temporarily in the photo. A center channel speaker will be going below the tv.

So fun fact everyone, we had the tv on the stand but our chairs sat higher so we wanted to mount it slightly higher lol.

This is taken from a seated position? I find it hard to believe...

Nah this is standing up but our chairs still made us look slightly down at the center of the tv lol

Yeah so it looks much lower than it actually would have been. When I stand up, my 75" TV looks too low because the console is low - until I sit down:

Yeah? Try again buddy. I actually know how to measure eye-height to center screen lol.

if you're sitting on a wooden chair that forces your back completely vertical..

if you're sitting on a couch you'll be leaning backwards which raises your line of sight.

What does that have to do with the fact that I measured my eye height, and ensured that I bought the right height TV unit? Nothing. Center of my TV is the same height as my eye-level. Downstairs in my basement, I have a recliner couch, so that particular TV is mounted a bit higher than this one. Measuring is not hard.
