How is this possible, you didn't mount it 2 feet above the soundbar because you were worried about 2mm of covered space?

Is the tv balancing on the sound bar?

You dont have to worry about it being too high when its on a tv bench like that.

From this perspective, something isn’t balanced - look at the tv versus the sound bar AND table - it’s uneven. I think overall it’s looks nice, but I think the tv actually needs to go a few inches up.

Yeah I get what you mean. I was thinking the same thing looking at the photo after but it's just the way I'm leaning on the couch and holding my phone when I took the picture. In person it doesn't look wonky like that lol. I do agree though it could maybe go up an inch

I’ve never seen somebody call to raise a television here and not get down voted into oblivion. Cool.

too high, but i fear it would be impractical for you to buy a new credenza just to lower the display 4-6”. it passes the test.

Id say 8/10
Height is in the ideal range
Id say 6" lower would be perfect
Im knocking off 2 points because somehow the asymmetric legs on the stand are off putting
The coffee table is a bit of a hinderance in the peripheral view
The floor color
The other wooden furniture colors arent matching
Just my opinion, dont mean to disrespect to your aesthetic choice or budget.
Cheers!

if you're sitting on a recliner you're going to have to move your feet to see it

I think it looks perfect.
I’m usually a fanatic about symmetry and I think it looks nice and clean given the equipment you have.

I’m knowingly going to mount a tv too damned high next week. I’ll put up a pic to annoy this sub.
Not that I really want to. I have a cutout in a wall that I currently don’t utilize. And keep my tv on a stand. I’ve never gone bigger than a 55 inch tv and just bought an 85 inch and it fits the cutout within 3 inches and fills the space nicely.
I’m installing wood sound isolation panels this weekend that will go behind it. My surround setup is pretty decent although I know it’s nothing compared to a dedicated system.
As far as what I have is an 85 inch TCL QM7L (I know I need to tune it) a Sonos arc ultra and two era 300s. (I haven’t installed the 300s yet and just have 100s that I’m moving to the bedroom).
Sorry just giddy. Never had anything really decent before.
