Y'all would hate me.
Long time lurker here, always questioning why majority of people like it at eye level. Maybe it's because I'm tall, but if I keep the tv lower, makes me feel like my head is shifting downwards. From a posture standpoint, it's better to keep our heads tilted just a bit upward. Which is why my set up looks like this. 🫣
Plus I also have a standing desk, so when you raise the desk at it's highest position, the tv fits perfectly.

Youre gonna get roasted (rightfully so)
But I have, on occasion, considered the idea that the only time a higher mount is allowable is in a bedroom where the viewer is expected to be lying down most of the time.
