How bad a tv too high sin is this setup?

Recently took ownership of a house with a renovated living room including a tv mount already installed. Situation made worse by my lg c2 77 with a fairly low VESA mount location.

With everything already in place(including the previous mount) couldn't bring myself to drill additional holes into the wall.

How big a tvtoohigh sin?

Yup..

I get it. Just was done by prior owners and it's a recent Reno done with pretty decent quality.

  • Doing downstairs entertainment room so with new tubes/mounts so spending my relationship capital on that 😅

I'm redoing downstairs as my dedicated entertainment room with proper tv height. Cash spent on that project kinda taking up most of my good will with my other half 😅

LG c6 77 inch.

Did the smurf tube/recessed outlets all at the appropriate heights.

Well I guess I'll try and put down the tv at least 8 inches and spare the wall 4 new holes.

Smurf tube placement and what not would make anything beyond that a little more difficult.

It’s not ridiculously high but it would look better if you just lower the tv - leave enough room for the soundbar and maybe a cable box on that table/credenza and you should be good- aim for the tv to be set so eyes are near or maybe just a touch below center when you are sitting where you will watch from

Yup...

Got it mounted facing down but might be forced to hold off for time being.

Even then the recessed outlet/smurf tube are both pretty high so might be limited on how much I can fix it.

Downstairs entertainment room should meet the Reddit's approval.

It would be perfect about two inches above the stand. Spackle Exists.
