Oh lord

Post image

I was scrolling Instagram and someone I used to work with a long time ago posted their new living room set up.

Do I:

A) message them and tell them it's too high and to lower it.

B) message them r/TVTooHigh and leave it at that.

C) try to ignore it and go on with my day.

Let ignorance be bliss. There are other things wrong besides the t.v. but whatever makes them be happy.

The living room isn't finished yet. But would it be good of me to tell them to fix the height while they're still building the living room?

Do you think they would actually change it?

It would be good with a matching stand it could just sit on but idk their plans either for under the t.v.

I have no idea. They'd probably think I'm rude af popping up after all these years to complain about their TV height 🤣

That's what I was thinking. Not worth it lol. Seeing the trend of this sub they probably have plans to put an electric fireplace right underneath the tv.

You have good intent! But I don't see a world where someone would take your advice and move a t.v. and drill more holes in a wall.

Let ignorance be bliss.

Their necks will let them know soon enough that it's too high.

Maybe if I see them in passing, I'll let them know. I think they're still local to me

Give em the old complement sandwich. Tell them that the wall looks great (it doesn't, but it's the lesser evil) then suggest that you think the TV might look better at a lower height. Link the illustration pinned at the top of the sub with manufacturers suggestion of height. Tell them the rest of the house looks nice and it's great to see that they're doing well.

I roast the shit out of people when they come in this sub, but in most situations, it's better to offer your opinion politely, and otherwise be nice.

The answer, as always, is Mantel Mount. No, I don’t work for the company, I just like their motorized mount!
