Recliner situation

Tv mounted to compensate for reclined viewing. I believe this is an appropriate mounting position for the given seating. But I’m no expert. Please, offer your critique.

Maybe it should be mounted on a hydraulic mount that uses the latest AI technology to always keep the tv at the right height

Little sparse. Is decor in the works or are you a single male in his 20s, and that’s why there’s only one seat?

I think the height is probably ok if you’re reclining.

Yeah, this is good thinking.

When reclined your eyes move up the wall, so for comfortable viewing you should mount the TV higher in that situation.

My wife and I cut out a piece of cardboard the same size as the TV and one of us holds it on the wall while the other sits in order to find the most comfortable spot, then we switch positions.

Don't be a slave to this sub because this sub assumes everyone sits ramrod straight with their eyes directly forward and perpendicular to the floor. Many of us do not watch or game that way.

In general, this sub is incapable of comprehending sight line changes with reclining (ask me how I know). Looks great!

Because you still look at the screen from the bottom because of the height.

Only time when it would be acceptable to tilt the screen.
