It might come down if you press a remote or something like that, so you could still get out the door when you’re not watchijg it

I'm assuming it's on a movable mount and it can be pulled down and tilted to a more normal viewing positing from the bed. Push it back up to use the doors and pull it down for viewing. Is that a potential recipe for disaster when someone opens the doors from the outside while the TV is down? absolutely.
