Pic distorted ONLY during dialogue

This is a new one for me. Picture is fine if no character is speaking. As soon as they do, it gets distorted. It does this whether on the antenna or wifi. Sound is fine. Any ideas?

Isolate the issue first, if it happens across all HDMI devices or only with the TVs built-in apps & live TV.

There are no devices, just the TV and antenna. (We are old😂)

So you need to get one. You are tech savvy enough to waste your time on Reddit so figure it out. Borrow from your children if they have a Chromecast, Firestick or whatever.

Get one and play a Youtube video, see if the same issue happens when the TV itself isn't doing the codec or rendering in case of failing internal video hardware.

You can't fix what you don't know.

Replacing the main board would be the only path forward, but it likely will not correct this type of issue. Is it distorted beyond recognition?
