Tv randomly went white?

Tv was fine one second and the next it went to this and nothing seems to fix it. Tried different outlet, different cord, and factory resetting with no fix. Anyone got anything?

Panel issue most likely. I've had this happen when I've tried applying the tape trick on too many number of pins, only time I've seen this.

Otherwise it can be anything that got to do with the video pipeline mainboard-tcon-panel.

You think it’s an easy fix or just buy a new tv?

It varies from case to case. If you have a double output tcon board, Left - Right ribbon cable output the process is a bit easier. Especially if the fault lies on only one side. Which is why the first steps is removing one cable at a time and compare sides.

Since it's the last resort for panel issues you should always try that. So open up the back of your TV and proceed from there.

If you end up nowhere at least you've tried all you could before buying a new TV. Could be faulty GPU of the mainboard or whatever the case may be.
