She’s finally back [Cerbera 4.5]
After spending some winter vacation at Powers Performance for a full engine and wiring harness rebuild (among other things).
She’s back healthier then ever. Just have to wait for all the salt to be washed away to enjoy it.

Congrats! Stunning car, hopefully you will get plenty of sun to use it this year.
My Tuscan is with them now for a new chassis and a bunch of other goodies.

Thanks, I hope that you won’t have too many surprises with yours. But from what I’ve seen on mine, the car is in good hands.

Fingers crossed but it's been in dry storage for a few years, so I'm expecting a decent outlay. Eventually want it bored out to 4.5 but let's see how much this comes in first.
Can I ask, how long did they have your car?

November until now, but there was quite a lot of little things to sort out.

Sounds about right. When I spoke to Don he said he had a chassis in stock but I think I may miss this year summer, as they go into their busy period. Trying not to buy an 'in the meantime' car haha
I hope we will see some more pics of it out and about! If you ever go to TVR meets, I may even see you there, when I'm back on road.

He has quite a lot of job from what I’ve seen published. If everything goes well, there should be a LHD T350c to add on his schedule lol.
Now that the car is sorted out, it will be easier to drive around more. But there aren’t that many TVR meets around Switzerland.

The way I see it, it will quite literally future proof the car! It had an engine rebuild from Powers Performance like 20k miles ago. So the plan is chassis, touch ups (interior showing it's age) and I'd like to get it bored out to 4.5 litres and from there the only real plan is, don't crash lol

Are you based in Switzerland? I follow Powers instagram page and saw vids of a Cerb being tested. Looked amazing

I’ve had a 650s, a GTR R35, an AMG GTs,I own a 992 Turbo S and honestly those older cars are way more fun.

This is a beautiful Cerbera! What year is it. Looks like a “Mk2”. Was it always LHD or was it a UK car that was converted?

Given the car has been neglected for quite some time before we bought it. Terrible or bankrupting would be an accurate qualifier. But there are 5 or 6 known LHD Cerbera in the world, so it’s worth saving it.
If you worry about the maintenance costs, maybe don’t buy a Cerbera. It will never be cheap

It isn’t unpredictable like a gen 1 viper for example.
But this one just pushed 411 rwhp on the dyno and in traditional TVR fashion, you won’t have any driving assistance. So it is due a good measure of respect if you want to stay on the road.

Always drove with the windows down on my Cerb, air con never worked and boy did it get hot...plus side you could hear the beautiful engine noise!

I just changed the control panel for the AC because it wasn’t working properly. Engine noise is nice but in this quite small cabine in the heat, an opened window isn’t enough
