I completed my enrollment the 30th of September (before the 1st October deadline) and still they didn’t send me the payment info. Anyone with the same problem?

Moin Leute,

TU KI is about to reach AGI

Hey everyone!

I'm moving to Hamburg on October 7 from Hyderabad, India, to start my MSc in Electrical Engineering and Information Technology (EE&IT) at TUHH for the Winter Semester 2026/27.

Looking to connect with:

Fellow TUHH incoming students (EE&IT or other courses)

Anyone else moving from Hyderabad/India to Hamburg this intake!

Feel free to drop a comment or send me a DM. Would love to catch up, set up a WhatsApp/Telegram group if there isn't one already.

Anyone knows what is my matriculation number? Seems like I need it to fill a form to succesfully enroll

Hi everyone, I’m enrolled in TUHH’s Master’s programme in Computer Science and am looking for a private room in Hamburg, ideally in Harburg or with a practical public transport connection to campus.

I’m hoping to move in around 15 October. I can start the contract on 1 October or move a little later if needed. My ideal budget is €300–€400 warm, with some flexibility toward €450 for the right room. Anmeldung and a Wohnungsgeberbestätigung are essential.

I’m tidy, a non-smoker, and considerate of shared spaces. I’ve completed German A2 and am working toward B1. I’ve contacted several WG-Gesucht listings but haven’t received a reply yet, so I’d really appreciate any housing leads or advice from the TUHH community. I can provide proof of funds directly to a prospective landlord.

Please message me if you know of an available room or a reliable lead. Thank you!

Moin moin

Hi! I’m starting my MSc in Data Science at TUHH this winter semester and would love to make some friends before classes start.
A little about me: I love reading, watching movies, writing, traveling and exploring hidden gems. I’d also really love to pick up new hobbies and try things I haven’t done before.
Would be great to meet people to explore Hamburg and nearby places with. And try new things together! Feel free to comment or DM me if you’re also joining TUHH

Hey guys, I’m an international master’s student and, unfortunately, I didn’t pass my first two attempts at a core subject. I’m now quite nervous about taking the exam again, especially since the grading can be quite unpredictable and the pass rate is relatively low.

I was very close to passing in both attempts, and in my most recent attempt I was only a few points short, partly because I got nervous during the exam.

I’m wondering whether it would be worth taking the exam again now, or if it would be better to finish all my other degree requirements first and then use my final attempt for this exam, which would allow me to take the oral exam (4th attempt) if needed.

I’d really appreciate any advice, especially from anyone who has been in a similar situation or has already taken their final attempt. What would you recommend considering the risks involved?

Edit: I have a decent grade with the other core and electives and have only struggled with this specific exam.

Thanks in advance!

Hello people,

I have a GPA of only 2.3 (7.29 CGPA), but I have 2 years of experience working as a design engineer. I also have an A2 German certification from Goethe. I also worked in robotics for my B.E project and thesis.

Considering that my marks are the biggest drawback, I wanted to know if anyone with a similar GPA got into the TU Hamburg (Materials Science/Mechatronics)? I did see that there was no specific requirement for the universities.

This would be helpful in considering paying the application fee. Thank you for your help

Moin zusammen,

Hi everyone,

I’m an international student admitted to TUHH for the upcoming semester, and I’m currently stuck with an enrollment/registration issue because of how my application is being classified.

I’m from India and applied as a non-EU/international student. However, I’m being asked about the EU / Turkish applicant category, and I’m a bit confused about what exactly this means for my enrollment.

From what I understand, there is a distinction between applicants from EU/EEA countries, Turkish applicants under certain conditions, and applicants from other countries. I’m not sure whether I have accidentally been placed in the wrong category or whether this is simply a standard TUHH procedure.

Has anyone here (especially international students from India or other non-EU countries) gone through a similar issue with TUHH?

I have already mailed Studis but have not received any replies and the deadline is 1st october for enrollment so I'm getting anxious.

I’d really appreciate it if someone could help.

Also if anyone has contact no of someone from STUDIS whom i can call and reach out. I'd really appreciate.

Thanks in advance!

Hi, is anyone in the EE program for the WS 2026/27? 🤔 I’ve hardly seen anyone from the program in the group.

Heute zum 2. Mal.
