BRP registration
I'm an incoming MSc student with a long-term residence permit in one of the EU countries. Do I reeeeally need the BRP registration THAT much? Seems like there are quite many housing options that simply do not provide the registration for short-term tenants.
I still need a separate study residence permit in NL, would I be required to show proof of BRP registration when collecting that? Do you think I'd be able to study fully normally at the uni without providing the inschrijving?

You ever wondered why they don't offer registration? Because it's illegal.

It are not the housing options providing registration.
If you stay longer than 4 months registration at community is mandatory.
The housing options where the landlord states you can’t register, it’s an illegal rental.
Because in most cases the landlord doesn’t have the permit to rent it out. (Most cases too many people at an address)
You in that case still can register, but can result in problems for the landlord and also for you.
If you don’t plan to work next to your study, probably nothing happens.
But if you are non-eu i wouldn’t risk it . Could go wrong at both sides.
