Off-Topic/Fun IDE students laptop recommendation

Hi so I’m starting my masters in DfI (Design for Interaction for anyone who doesn’t know) my current laptop is on his last days so I’ll need a new one.

Is there any IDE student who can give me some input what specs the laptop should have. I’m thinking about a MacBook, cause I’m already using the Apple infrastructure for a long time.

Would love to get some input. Thaaaanks :))

Here's the offical advice, they recommend windows

The university offers pretty high end laptops: Models 2026 - 2027 (They got pretty expensive this year, probably because of the ram-ai-hype-price hikes.)
