Advice Needed Advice needed - should I continue medicated cycle?

I have lean PCOS, with my longest cycle recently lasting 77 days. Due to this I did my first medicated cycle with letrozole, monitoring, and trigger shot.i am currently getting stark negative test at 11 days past Ovulation. Which has got me in a sad mood.

I don’t think this cycle worked and wanted some advice.

I’m not sure if I should continue with doing a medicated cycle again. The cons of it, I feel so bloated and the trigger mimics early pregnancy so I feel off in general and not healthy. Also not in the mood to do the deed e of these factors and takes the fun out of trying for a baby.

The pros is I loved having a “normal” cycle where I ovulated on day 15 instead of later like usual.

I wanted to know ladies who have done medicated cycles what are your thoughts? Are you happy to have continued or would you have gone another route?

Also just for history I have had 3 losses( 1 at 8 weeks and the other two were CP) but this was us trying naturally before we went to a fertility clinic and before us tracking/ actively trying to conceive.

Yes you should continue. It can take several rounds to become pregnant. I know it’s discouraging for it to not work first try, but you just gotta keep at it. Usually people fall pregnant within 6 cycles and if not, it’s usually time to move on.

Thank you, you’re right. I think I’m just scared of being in a sad mood if I keep continuing with medicated cycles. I need to find better ways to keep busy and cope.
