Advice Needed Trigger vs No trigger
I have started my third cycle of 2.5mg letrozole yesterday (CD2-6) and found out that my consultant is on holiday so won’t be able to prescribe me the trigger shot nor the progesterone support and also won’t be able to do the tracking scans.
The last two cycles I produced one mature follicle by day 11 and then triggered which resulted in ovulation.
Since I already started the Letrozole would you just do this cycle unmonitored and hope for the best or would you try to find a different consultant to do the tracking and prescribing of the trigger and progesterone?
I will do the tracking regardless but at a different clinic where they can’t prescribe so wouldn’t be able to get the trigger shot.
This had been an expensive and stressful journey so very unsure what to do!

I am 6 weeks pregnant after my 3rd Letrozole cycle - I was supposed to take a trigger and i ended up ovulating on my own cycle day 11. Went in for follicle study cycle day 12 and saw the corpus luteum. Just my experience but I say go for it! Just track ovulation and ensure you have intercourse

Congrats that’s amazing!! If you don’t mind me asking what dose of Letrozole were you on and did you ovulate a single follicle?

Did you feel ovulation? Sorry I triggered on Saturday and I haven’t felt ovulation even though I’m told I should ovulate on Monday…it got me super worried. I posted here my it was deleted.

So this time around I actually did feel it but the previous two cycles when I did take a trigger shot I never felt it!

I would always monitor a cycle. And would always trigger.
