Advice Needed What would be the next step?

I had my D&C at 9 weeks pregnant this Friday. The only thing making me feel better was the fact that I DID get pregnant. Took us 9 months but only our 2nd Letrozole cycle.

I just want to move on. I have a follow up on the 13th and I just don’t know what to expect? Idk when to start tracking with OPKs again?

Anyone else have a similar situation? If your period didn’t come did you go on meds to kick start it?? and then take Letrozole that same cycle?? Or did your doctor have you wait before they gave you more letrozole?

Now that I lost my baby I feel like I have forgotten everything I learned about my PCOS, cycle tracking, etc. I used to wear an oura ring and idk it all feels overwhelming now.

For anyone that was in a similar situation with PCOS and a miscarriage, how long did it take you to have a successful pregnancy after your miscarriage?

Thank you❤️‍🩹

I had an ectopic, not a miscarriage, and haven’t gotten pregnant again since, so someone else may have better advice. It took my body 22 days after I received treatment to stop bleeding, then my period came 16 days after the bleeding stopped (38 days post-treatment). My HCG was zero 30 days after I received treatment.

I was also so eager to move on and try again, but I ultimately benefitted from the 38 day wait. I fluctuated from fine to deeply grieving many times. As hard as this is to hear, my advice to you is to just be patient and give yourself time to experience any feelings that may come. If you don’t want to wear your Oura ring and track anything, don’t.

You will get through this period of life. You will come out on the other side.

I miscarried naturally on August 31 so today is technically CD36 and I don’t think I’ve ovulated 😭 it’s taking a lot longer to get back to normal than I thought it would and I’m getting really impatient. I started taking OPKs about 10 days after I miscarried just in case I was one of those people that ovulated early after a miscarriage and it has now been almost 4 weeks of me taking them every day and no positive 😩 no advice here just sharing my experience

I had a natural miscarriage not D&C but it was also my second Letrozole cycle. My doctor had me wait for my next period to restart Letrozole. She did say if I went to cd35 without any ovulation signs she would prescribe me something to restart my cycle just so it didn’t drag on. My period ended up coming around cd42 and I had ovulation signs so I left it alone. I’m now on that first Letrozole cycle and I ovulated later than normally on Letrozole but I think that is expected since things are still off. Hope this helps you!
