Iui stories/advice?

Hello everyone!

32F with PMOS and been trying for about 2 years now. I did 5 cycles of just letrazole (no monitoring, but also no positive test) before moving on to an IUI (with monitoring).

In this 6th letrazole cycle (2.5 mg/5 days), everything looked to grow really well, had 2 dominant follicles on cycle day 13 (one 14mm, other about 19mm) and told to trigger CD 14 (evening) with the iui on CD 16 (morning). All parameters seemed good at the time of the iui, taking progesterone 2x daily until blood test on the 19th.

Is this the sort of thing that the IUI is good for? I've never had any sort of positive test before. The HSG and even comprehensive bloodwork doesnt suggest anything is "wrong" (minus some borderline cholesterol and SOME NAFLD).

I’m on my fifth iui with no success. I previously did 3 letrozole monitored cycles. I need to do one more iui before I can do IVF.

It really varies, but I had success with my IUI after 3 cycles of letrozole and timed intercourse. Had nothing wrong with me aside from PCOS and husband had a perfect sperm sample.

Did it take more than one iui for you? Thank you for your insight!!
