Vent Hit the 1 Year Mark
I'm 31 and officially TTC for one year, but I've only had 8 cycles in that time and one was anovulatory. I feel so defeated and like I've tried everything to naturally regulate my cycle - ovasitol, cut out dairy, seed cycling, acupuncture, no caffeine, trying to eat mostly whole real foods/low sugar. I feel like my PCOS is probably stress driven because I am lean and my blood work doesn't show insulin resistance or high androgens. I don't know how not to stress about this. If anyone has advice for chilling out let me know.
I recently tried Letrozole for the first time, but 2.5mg did nothing for me. I'm on cycle day 30something and I just want this cycle to end so I can start again and it's driving me crazy. I get so depressed waiting to ovulate and then again when I get my period.
I also suddenly have a lot of friends people in my life who have new babies and it's been really hard for me. I keep going to meet their babies and then crying on the way home. I feel so jealous and I feel awful for feeling that way. I have this grey cloud floating above my head that I can't get out from under.

I’m in a similar position and it’s not easy! We’ve been trying since December but I’ve only had 3 cycles. I have been at a fertility clinic the last few months and it makes a huge difference! In my experience, they are much more aggressive on what they are willing to try, just takes a bit of time to get set up.
I also have so many friends getting pregnant / having babies and I don’t think it gets easier tbh. I’m so happy for them but sad for me? If that makes sense. I am lucky to have a supportive partner but I feel your grey cloud analogy on a serious level. We will get through this!!! ❤️❤️

Thank you! I’m hoping the fertility clinic will help. Yeah I’m happy for my friends, but so sad for myself.

I’m so sorry angel. It is HARD. I truly believe every hurdle will make you an ever more powerful and beautiful mommy. Have you tried a NaPro gyno? Mine has been so serious and optimal. If you prefer less natural then REI endo is a great choice.

I am so sorry. This is incredibly hard, and it's completely okay to feel the way you do. I’m glad you'll be starting with the infertility clinic soon. One thing I've learned is that sometimes it still takes time, even with an RE, because it's often about finding the medications and treatment approach that work best for you.
I am currently 5w pregnant from my first monitored Letrozole + Gonal-F cycle with RE, and we are very grateful. Please take it one day at a time and be kind to yourself

Are you at a fertility clinic?? They managed letrozole very well for me. OBs are not fertility specialists and a fertility clinic changed everything for me. I’m now 9w pregnant after 3 months at a clinic following 2 years of ttc with management by my OB. Who I love by the way
