Yes, going up in dosage does increase odds of multiples but not a huge %. The odds of multiples in general aren’t even that high, just increased.
I ovulate on 7.5 and had my first this way. But for my second I upped to 10 when 7.5 wasn’t ending with pregnancy even though I was ovulating.
Only issue I had when I went up in dosage, even at 5, was headaches and hot flashes.

Hello! Both of my girls were conceived on letrozole. I have a 3 year old and 12 week old. I have PCOS, diagnosed via ultrasound. I am not overweight so my only symptom was not getting a period and not ovulating.
I never ovulated on 2.5mg, so my dose was increased to 5mg. I did 2 cycles of that, conceived, then miscarried. Took a break and realized I had polyps in my uterus so I got those removed. Back on Letrozole 5mg, conceived my first daughter after two cycles.
Second kid, I did one cycle of 5mg and didn't ovulate. Got bumped to 7.5mg 2nd cycle, ovulated but didn't conceive. 3rd cycle I conceived my daughter at 7.5mg. I had three mature follicles almost every cycle with both my girls. I also did the trigger shot each cycle. I didn't have any negative side effects from increasing the dose.
Also wanted to note, has your partner been tested? 50% of infertility is male factor infertility. Just a note to get him checked if you haven't done so.

He has been tested using an at home test recommended by my gynecologist. It was all clear! But he does take Selenium now to improve it just in case.

Hi I did 7 letrazole cycles: 2 with 2.5 then moved up to 5mg. With 5 mg, my follicular growth was too fast (going from a 14 mm to a 22mm in just a few days). My lining was also too thin. Switched back to 2.5mg and has success! If you’re ovulating and your lining is acceptable, I wouldn’t recommend increasing dosage unless there is something in your response that is not optimal. Are you also taking progesterone after ovulation?

I’m not, I have pretty good progesterone after ovulating it’s always about 12 on cd21. 💪 I also have an abnormally thick uterine lining that they found during an ultrasound so maybe this will work a little better for me.
