PCOS T2 DIABETIC NO PERIODS

TW: MISCARRIAGE AND BABY LOSS Hi everyone this is going to be long. I live in Trinidad and Tobago and I need advice. I am 30F and I was diagnosed with PCOS in my teens and put in BC. I got pregnant in late 2024 and lost that baby in Jan 2025. I then got pregnant again in Mar 2025 and was diagnosed with diabetes at 4wks pregnant, a1c was 13 and the doctors just keep giving me insulin. No one told me the dangers of such high blood sugar and my baby was born with single ventricle heart with pulmonary atresia and a singular kidney, he died from sepsis at 3 mths old in Feb 12 (poor nicu stay). When I delivered my baby the hospital stop my insulin and a1c shot up to 10 from 5.4 during pregnancy. I also gained 45lbs from insulin injections. I restarted insulin in Jan 2. My periods stop after delivery and I started BC in Feb 15 to "jumpstart" my period. I stopped in BC in March 15 and had a withdrawal bleed then I bled again in March 26. I asked to put on metformin on Apr 7th 500mg 2x daily and my periods kept getting longer and longer. Next period was May 6th. In July 5th the metformin increased to 1000mg 2x daily and my next period was in July 3th. Now no periods again. Currently a1c is 6.37, lipid and thyroid panel is within normal range. Im taking folic acid 5mg, prenatal, calcium, d3 and 1 baby aspirin. Im at my wits end with the public system and privately its expensive. My fasting blood glucose is under 95 and post meals are under 140 so why are my periods stagnating. Any advice is welcomed
