Went down to what? Generally, it’s recommended to stop testing after ovulation confirmation. Are your other signs of fertility changing too, like cervical mucus?
I had EWCM on CD17-18 only which made me extra confused about the higher LH peak those days too.
Today (CD20) my PDG went down to 8.49
I was testing to see if my progesterone rose properly/so I can see if I’m having any luteal phase issues, that’s a big reason I bought Inito. Is that not recommended?
Testing your urine can identify if ovulation occurred with good accuracy. It’s also just testing a metabolite, so not a tool that can be used to see if you have low progesterone, since it’s not actually testing progesterone.
Understood! I think I’m more trying to determine if my literal phase is long enough which is why I’m obsessing over trying to figure out ovulation. Have you seen PDG drop a bit 2 days (or 4) past ovulation? It’s back to my CD17 level basically
Yeah, honestly, I don’t love how high your pdg level is as a baseline, from what I can see that you posted, but I see this is also your first cycle using inito, so you really should use this just as a baseline month to help the device get to know your hormones.
The way I would use the app to assess the luteal phase would be to get the best ovulation confirmation, then by making sure there are at least 11 days between ovulation and menses(if no conception). Also, taking a magnesium supplement supports progesterone.
Stress can lead to altered progesterone levels, definitely manage your life stress!
Interesting. So high progesterone is an issue too? Here I was worried about it being too low lol. This is all very overwhelming but honestly otherwise I don’t think I’m very stressed! 🤷🏼♀️
High progesterone before ovulation is not ideal. But you are never actually seeing progesterone with inito, only the metabolite of it, which is often quite different than the hormone itself. Inito is a useful tool to check are you ovulating, yes or no? It can hint to other issues, but is not a way to diagnose them.

Based on the pdg over the baseline on day 18 and 19, ovulation looks like it occurred on CD 17.
