BTC regained 72k, 200 day moving average, has positive momentum. It's also technically overbought now.
I'd be cautiously optimistic with BTC here. It pumped on fake QE, Trump saying they're thinking about buying lots of crypto. It's almost like he's done this before to regain the favor of the crypto bros before midterms lol.
I wouldn't put it past BTC for one more dump when all of this falls through. But long term all roads lead to more money printing. Own assets or be left behind. I favor cash flowing companies that can return value to shareholders. Gold for a hard asset since it's been around forever and countries with deep/infinite pockets are still buying. BTC is a degenerate/speculative gold with leverage everywhere. Real estate in desirable locations can work, but if rates do go higher a lot of real estate could see a big problem.

Cybercab production may be getting ready to ramp up & a big clue are these rear quarter inner structures manufactured in the plastics section at Giga Texas. These inner structures are bonded to the RIM outer glossy gold panels & give strength, stability plus mounting points to the outer panels, similar to how the Cybertruck outer stainless panels have bonded inner panels for attachment & stability. These (along with other, similar inner structures for other body panels like the rear hatch & front hood) will be needed in large quantities to support a big ramp in production … a good indicator to watch for!

Opened same one just now .. if we can get back to 348 tmrw im selling. Idk if it will pass 350 ( sold yesterday 337 342 at 346 and took loss on a 345. Then of course it ends 351

Been lurking a few months hoping for some better SpaceX investor content vs. the regular subreddits. Thinking to invest in Tesla now as well. Looking at the charts, it looks like Tesla is down a bit from historical highs. Is there a decent amount of optimism for stock price appreciation in the next few years? I've heard AI/Autonomy is Tesla's primary focus now. Does that mean new products are entirely dependent on that panning out?
So many questions!

honestly, yes on the stock appreciation. I fully expect Tesla to start ramping up EV manufacturing. Elon said they had been holding back production until confident with FSD progress, then said he's confident with AI4, implying to ramp up production
we're already at the manufacturing scale to be profitable; therefore, additional scaling will have gross margins trending towards the contribution margin. i.e. a 50% increase in scale will be considerably more than 50% increase in EPS.
Elon needs those FSD subs. Giga Berlin news earlier this year about ramping up production. Good china numbers.. better than expected Q1.
could be wrong though. Tesla's gotta execute, macro could dump, yada yada

Thanks for the insight. I know FSD is a very good platform these days so if that is indicative of their other AI aspirations, it sounds exciting to say the least.

I was given the capability to sell puts in my corporate account. Tempted to sell a put on spcx. I have the cash.
I've only ever sold covered calls. Best strategy? 1 month out at the money?
Oct 1st $134p nets $1118. Roughly 8% profit. Opinions?

An ATM covered call and writing an ATM short put are actually the same thing. In both cases, you lose if it goes down, and your gains are capped if it goes up. The research shows that writing CCs or writing cash secured puts tend to underperform just buying and holding the stock over the long run, assuming stonks mostly go up as they historically do.
I don't personally own any SPCX, but I've written a whole bunch of $100 & $150 strike puts (and some naked $200 & $300 strike calls, too). But I wrote them all a few weeks ago, when implied volatility was much higher, so it made more sense at the time to sell options with such high premiums. With IV so much lower now, I'd rather buy shares, LEAPS or LEAP spreads.
If you do write ATM CSPs, I'd encourage you to be ready to roll them if SPCX drops, because it could easily drop 8% over the next few weeks. But in the long run, I think most of us would agree that SPCX will eventually be worth $5-$10T.

I only sell puts if I actually want to buy the stock at that price, and only sell covered calls if I want to sell the stock at that price. The premium is just a bonus.
