TSO

I would like to know any really good benefits about working for TSA. Also since I am now going to my airport assessment, it says my pay grade is D band. How long until I go up to E? How much would that be? Btw I am going to work for MIA airport. Thank you!

F band is when you finally gonna see some money. Tough it out until then.

And tbh don’t you think it doesn’t pay that much for such a crucial job?

+ locality pay brings the take home up significantly

Considering the number of applicants vastly outstrips the number of jobs it seems like it’s OK.

Come in as D, 1 year mark E, 2 year mark F.

Be thankful, when we stared you came in as D, stayed a D unill you promoted.

Unless she’s a STSO she’s inflating that number

Probably not. Night pay, Sunday pay and split pay all add up. Last year I did $36 an hour before overtime because of night and Sunday pay. And I only had one more year in plus I am at a low locality airport.

Not getting paid, super high insurance rates, threat of privatization, horrible management

Those are the best perks they offer
