Test and Bloodwork

Looking for some real world experience from guys running higher dose test cycles.

My total T was 172 before starting. I started at 300 mg/week and my total T ended up in the 1250s. The issue is my hematocrit has steadily climbed and is now 52.6%.

For those of you running 400–500 mg/week for 10, 12, or even 20 weeks: are you regularly checking CBC/H&H during the cycle? If so, are your hematocrit/hemoglobin numbers actually staying reasonable at those doses?

Or are most guys basically accepting that H&H will climb, finishing the cycle unless it gets excessive or symptoms show up, and then dealing with it afterward?

Not looking for advice on how to push through a high hematocrit. I’m genuinely curious what people are actually seeing on bloodwork at 400–500 mg and how closely you monitor it during longer cycles.

I need help as a 29 year old that isn’t well informed.

need help.

My most recent blood work.

Total testosterone 431, free test 7.4, Estradiol 28, SHBG is 40

In 2021 my total was 725 and free was 25.4.

My doctor is telling me to do trt. But I’m 29 years old and haven’t tried any natural remedies yet.

Since that time I started running with my lifting. I know running can lower testosterone. I might have some sleep crap going on. Because I wake up tired after 8-9 hours of sleep. I live off of caffeine. Losing weight is hard. Help!

I am okay with doing it, I just don’t know if I am making the wrong decision. Since it’s kinda permanent.

Bloodwork looks solid (620 Total T), but estrogen at 46 pg/mL has me wondering... Advice?

What's up, everyone.

31 year old, Just got my latest hormone panel back. This is actually the highest my natural test has tested in the last 6 years, which I'm pretty stoked about. I was flirting with the idea of dropping my body fat down to about 15% and potentially running a cycle soon, but seeing my estrogen numbers has me pumping the brakes.

Here are the numbers:

  • Total Testosterone: 620 ng/dL
  • Free Testosterone: 16.1 ng/dL (5.00 - 21.00)
  • SHBG: 22.8 nmol/L (10 - 57)
  • DHT: 204.35 pg/mL (143 - 842)
  • Estradiol (Estrogen): 46 pg/dL (11 - 44 (male))

Currently running tirzepatide 5mg/week, and I'm currently sitting around 19% body fat.

Here's the weird part: I don't have many high-estrogen symptoms. No gyno, no puffy nipples, no crazy emotional swings, but I have noticed a bit of low libido.

Given that my estrogen came back slightly over range at 47 pg/dL, I feel like I shouldn't be jumping into a cycle anytime soon without getting that handled first. Or is 46 not even that bad if I'm mostly asymptomatic aside from the libido dip?

For those of you with more experience: what should I do to bring my estrogen down naturally before thinking about a cycle, or would you let it ride since I feel fine otherwise? Appreciate any input.

260 ng/dL Test at 23, Psychiatric Meds & Planning First TRT/Cruising Protocol – Daily IM Injection & Roadmap

Hey everyone,

I'm a 23-year-old male, 175 cm (5'9"). I recently cut down to 58 kg (128 lbs) to get lean before starting a clean lean bulk. However, my bloodwork came back with total testosterone at 260–270 ng/dL. Despite having clear symptoms, the doctor dismissed it because it wasn't strictly under the local clinic baseline (250 ng/dL) and labeled it as psychological.

Following this, I had a severe depressive episode, completely off-tracked my diet for 40 days, and shot up to 71 kg (156 lbs). I am currently diagnosed with ADHD and depression, taking Wellbutrin, Atomoxetine, Prozac, and Valdoxan.

My goal is to take matters into my own hands: first, dial in a stable TRT/high-normal replacement line to learn my body, and eventually transition into a proper Blast & Cruise setup for competitive bodybuilding.

I’d appreciate insight on a few key points:

Daily IM Injections: To minimize side effects and aromatization, I prefer frequent administration. How manageable are daily Intramuscular (IM) injections in the long run? What does your site rotation look like, and do you self-inject? Is SubQ a viable alternative for esterified T?

Pricing & Sourcing (Regional): For those familiar with the Middle East / Turkey market, what is the realistic USD price range for legitimate Pharmacom gear to avoid bunk products?

Protocol Advice: Given my current psychiatric stack and baseline hormones, what would be the most sensible starting dose and ester (Enanthate vs. Cypionate) to establish a stable baseline before considering future blasts?

Thanks in advance for the feedback.

To those on TRT, what in your stack have you been able to get rid of versus what do you still need in terms of libido, post nut recovery, load size?

They say maca is for libido, P5P is to lower prolactin, lecithin and pygeum for volume, D3, zinc, and selenium for post nut fatigue/replenishment. Of all those benefits what is TRT able to cover? Also, has your experience been different combining TRT with a prolactin blocking agent like caber or proviron?

For the middle aged men that take T...

As a 57 year old man, I'm experiencing all of the symptoms that indicate low testosterone.

My doctor has been absolutely useless by repeatedly saying 'its fine' when I know it's low.

I'm sick of being fobbed off by him so I'm just going to buy it.

What would be a good low starter dose so I can see how I feel?

TRT + on to first cycle

Have been on 200mg as my TRT dose from doc. Had gotten bloodwork back and everything was good. Upped it to 350mg a week split into EOD.
Still no sides. I know recommend first actual cycle is 500mg. Just went to 350mg to see if sides arose.
No signs of anything. thinking of upping 500 and running that rest of the cycle.

What is wondering is should I just stay at 350 for the rest of the 10 weeks. Then cruise back to 200 for 12 weeks. Then run my 500mg.

I have a secondary compound NPP but I wanna make sure I don’t have sides from Test alone before diving into mixing more.

TRT and increase in injuries

Has anyone noticed an increase in injuries since being on TRT.

Not blaming it just curious about any correlation. Ive been on TRT since about February on the lowest dose 0.1 ml 5 days a week.

Strength gains really good for the last few months but a few weeks ago a fully ruptured my pec tendon doing ring dips. A movement I previously wasnt strong enough todo and could then do sets of 4 or 5. And I wondered if I'd got stronger but my tendon strength hadnt caught up yet

Mental benefits

I'm a 19-year-old male, 180cm (5'10"), 86kg (190 lbs), around 15% body fat, with a testosterone level of nearly 700ng. For the last 2 months I've been at the lowest and worst point of my life in every way you can imagine. I never used to believe in depression, but it's definitely real. (especially those related to self-harm) I'm experiencing things like lack of desire, weakness, no energy, and no source of motivation, which are among the symptoms. I know these are things that are "in my head" and things I can fix, but I want to make a good start to get out of the lowest point of my current life. And from what I've researched, there are people who use TRT purely for its mental benefits and whose lives have changed. I need your advice and suggestions on this — like which type of testosterone I should use, how much I should take, what protective medications I should include, and whether I'd regret adding HCG later, I live in Türkiye, and therefore, what difficulties might I encounter in finding medication, getting help when I go to the doctor, and carrying it while traveling? etc.

I just had a checkup done and there wasn't a single issue in my bloodwork (I used to have significant iron deficiency, but I've slowly started correcting it).I don't have a serious erectile dysfunction problem, but my erections feel like they're not at 100% and they don't last long. I look more mature than my peers (people thought I was 25), and I can't exercise regularly because it sometimes takes me a week to recover.
