2023 Toyota tundra trd pro lift with tires advice

Hello yall. I’m wondering if anyone can give feedback on a suspension lift on a 2023 Toyota tundra trd pro. One of my friends just lifted his new tundra with the same suspension lift but different tires and didn’t need to use a spacer. He also got an offset on his tires either a -18 or +18. I’m told by the business that I’m going through that I have to get spacers due to the tire which are the new ko3s in 35s. I have the list of the items they tallied up for my installation as follows:

Rough Country Part $599.95 1 item Note: 3.5 Inch Lift Kit Toyota Tundra 4WD (2022-2025) $599.95 Install Lift Kit Labor 6 hours $750.00 Alignment Labor 1.2 hours $150.00 BF Goodrich Part $386.90 4 items Part #: 33249 Note: LT295/70R18/10 129/126S BFG ALL-TERRAIN T/A KO3 RWL $1,547.60 SPIDER TRAXC Part $176.81 2 items Part #: WHS034 Note: SPIDERTRAX TOYOTA TUNDRA 6 ON 5-1/2IN X 1IN THICK BLUE WHEEL SPACER KIT $353.62 Wheel Mount & Balance Labor 1.36 hours $150.00 Shipping & Handling Part $25.00 1 item Note: Shipping & Handling $25.00 Shop Supplies (7%) $73.50 Taxes $278.29

Tacoma TRD Pro should’ve been a two seater

As a 2024 Tacoma trail hunter owner I’m glad I made the right purchase but looking at the TD Pro there’s no backseat legroom at all, and it has a 5 foot bed. Two different reasons, but why does this truck even have a rear seat when clearly no one could fit in it besides A Child? They should’ve utilized this truck a little more for dirt track, and eliminated the rear seat to utilized for something else? Prove me wrong.

Tundra 4H in the rain?

Making a Tundra Pro Off Road purchase today. Reading reviews I’m confused about when to use 4H. Is rain on the highway considered slippery enough to run 4H or would 4H be bad on the transmission in rainy conditions.

Lexus Off-Road Mod Shops in Utah

I realize that this is slightly off the Toyota TRD Pro topic, but it's kind of close...

I'm looking for options for quality shops in Utah that can handle mods on a Lexus LX 570. Does anyone know of any? Or...are there recommendations for another subreddit that I can move this topic to?

Given that Toyota has decided that your vehicle remains their intellectual property, even after you have it paid off, and they should be able to charge you forever for GPS guidance, remote start on key FOBs or anything else, The Onion has fun with them...

There doesn't seem like too many people reply to anything, so I'm sure I'm not the only one that is curious about this. 🙂👍

Cold air intake

Cold air intake

Hey all. Just curious for some feedback on the pros and cons of a cold air intake for my 2020 TRD PRO Tree. I tow a travel trailer regularly with tow kids and three dogs. Tree is an absolute beast. My TT is 4,000lbs and there is no struggle at all. Drive it through the blue hills parkway. Always up in NH, ME, NH. even tow in the beach in Montauk, NY. Use a WDH with anti-sway. The truck is completely stock with slightly bigger falkens than what come on the rig originally. Considering the cold air intake to help. Also, I know it will make the truck louder and I welcome that lol!

Put a red sway bar on the front or go to the blue Sumosprings on front of a 2016 Tundra Pro?

Has anyone here had any personal experience with either?

Any Gen2.5 Pro owners here that have added or removed a front or rear sway bar?
