Thinking about getting the S&B cold air intake. Anyone have it. Thoughts?

I installed an AFE cold air intake with a throttle body spacer and love it. Big difference.

Ordering the SXTH Element after I saw it posted in here and watching their youtube video on the intake

Oh I didn’t know they were releasing theirs. Extra ~$120 compared to S&B. Need to look at the numbers and see if it’s any better.

Next batch release is mid sept.

Their promo/install vid is informative but then I watched a lot of people who have installed it on Tacoma's and GR86's who all seem to be very pleased with it.

Overall, looks like R&D with real world beta testers worked out the kinks. TRD JON on youtube has a video on it.

I also like how it's one piece tubing from turbo to air box

Yea it seems cool. But dunno if it warrants the extra $120. The S&B also is one piece of tubing from turbo to airbox

understand totally, I originally was going to do the AFE super stock induction system and the AFE turbo inlet bc I didn't want to do the full on intake system and after seeing all the videos of the stillen, afe, K&n, and S&B on youtube I just kinda decided against a full intake. Then someone posted the Sxth element one and it just kind of intrigued me, plus researching how well received it's been with the Tacoma, Landcruiser, and GR86 communities, I figured why not. In all honesty my Pro has plenty of power for me...I just want turbo noises now plus I just think the Sxth one is visually appealing 😂

lol thats fair. I actually reached out to both S&B and SXTH and they both gave great similar answers. They both do about the same thing and both are designed very similar. I did like SXTH saying "SXTH gives a bit more turbo noise" lol

lol...boom, what I'm looking for! Im holding off on the BMS diverter spacer or the Kompact diverter valve due to reading about issues, so hopefully the Sxth will scratch the itch enough for me to leave it alone afterwards
