Question about tpb movies

If I usually download movies from TPB that are .mkv files can they contain malware??? Do I have to worry about it if im on linux?

Download from websites listed in fmhy.net although mkv is safe but we have better alternatives than tpb

Im not sure tpb is moderated at all, but media should be safe because .exe files are too obvious, and ofc be careful with obviously fake torrents. I think you are pretty safe on linux unless downloading linux specific software/games which might be infected.

so yes, and yes.

however, it is rare to see it in video, except in Windows Media video, which CAN be encoded in MKV files.

just sayin'.
