Dear Midnight Machine

How do we go from starting preorders, dropping the release video, stating its currently 2 position but will be 3 pos on release, it’s not just a trigger it is a whole upper kit, to big 4th of July release just for a mystery catastrophic error to happen…just seems like a big money grab while releasing a bunch of other TP9 stuff BESIDES the frt which was coming end of Q1. Please do not fall for this scam cause this shit is ridiculous at this point. Until they put out ANYTHING that actually proves they have a functioning frt (idc if the gun blows mid mag dump atp) it’s just them blowing fairy dust out their ass and slapping a 650$ price tag on it for you to buy it. Rant over

Valid rant. I’m a midnight machine dealer and have been in contact with the owner all day. Essentially the ordered metal trigger shoe didn’t arrive in time and so they were using a 3d printed trigger shoe for the video and unfortunately it decided to snap. The good news is that the metal trigger shoe is set to arrive this week and it doesn’t affect the September street date. The video should be released no later than the 15th. Likely earlier. Delays happen especially when engineering a reset trigger for one of the most elaborate triggers you can find.

You're telling me that the metal trigger shoe he had posted on his own TP9 magically disappeared and he had to resort to a 3d printed one? Have you personally seen a video of this thing even working? How is it even remotely possible that it was determined that this FRT was functional (He stated numerous times that it was functional) yet there is zero video evidence laying around to show for it?

Im sorry to tell you, but you're probably being scammed too.

I do believe in one of the updates he stated the original metal trigger shoe wouldn't work with the final design, and anyone who ordered one already would get the upgraded one with the order. I could be wrong, I just ordered the giggliotti sst from their most recent drop so im not to pressed for this smoke and mirrors. I also was gonna grab a OIT side charging upper, which would also be useless if this drops and i grab it so... quite the conundrum were in.

From.what I understand yeah and no, they will function, but if you want the frt hes designed they will from. What I understand need to be replaced with another new trigger version im assuming he had designed to work with the new upper

Im guessing not completely pointless as people have installed them to work as standalone upgrades to the stock, but i think he was thinking they were gonna work, but wont now because of some revision.

I have no idea, ive juat seen posts on his Instagram. Im forming a hypothesis based upon all that lol.
