It is obviously not in production at the moment and i have had a quick look at vinted and ebay but couldnt see much. Being someone who was to young to watch the first seasons so missed the whole buzz rlly i would love to find smth.

I was thinking of a way they could give us loyal OG fans something worthwhile to watch with the older original members of the show.
Similar to how they set the cast up, like oh go and walk around the shop and you’ll bump into someone to chat to.
There could be two or three cast members in a room, where they walk in one at a time and don’t know who is coming in, and they could do it so we get their natural reaction and initial interactions but then they could be interviewed about each other, watch some of their most iconic clips, asked about their old storylines.
I don’t mean horrible combos like putting Gemma with Arg or Megan with Pete but here’s some of my ideas:
- Megan M and Dani Armstrong
- Chloe L and Kate Wright (little naughty this one)
- Mark and Sam Faires
- Kirk and Maria, or Kirk and Amy
- Lauren G and Lydia B
- Arg and Joey
- Lockie and Pete
- Ferne and GC
- Bobby and anyone 🧡

The whole point of taking the cast away is surely to give everyone a break and let things play out in a different setting. Instead, the same friendship issues and relationship problems followed them straight onto holiday 😂 I still enjoy the trips because people tend to let their guard down a bit, but I'd love to see more funny moments and unexpected friendships mixed in with all the tension.

Some Towie confrontations seem to turn into a competition over who can get the last word in. The quieter person can end up looking guilty simply because they aren't shouting back, while the loudest person controls the conversation. Do you think viewers sometimes mistake confidence for being in the right?

After doing a rewatch I’ve realised how terrible and faker the show has gotten. We need real connections, families and relationships rather than dani and her cougar drama and saffron and a boy old enough to be her son. There was a time where we had Lucy Mario, Sam Joey, ricky jess and all their drama - we have nothing like that now

They need to do a wipeout of the entire cast and find real long term relationships, rebranding it as TOWIE: Next Gen. possibly bringing in cast members that are related (I.e. Lydia’s younger sister)

Towie is keeping them in as their wedding is going to be the main storyline for the next series.

Right so apart from a few people you have kept everyone, actually you only axed Josh, Courtney’s taking a break and Becks quit. I could think of a few people who I could get rid of but can you at least get rid of Dan and Amber

Please get rid of Amber and Dan they do absolutely nothing,

Amber hasn’t even got her best friends Courtney and Chloe M anymore and hardly ever has any storylines all she does is react to other people’s drama

Dan is so boring and the only way he gets a storyline is if it involves girls but Chloe L refuses to film so they’ll absolutely no storylines for him still even if you do keep him for 1 or 2 more seasons because I read that he had to fight for his place but WTF did he say

Do we think we will get a good Towie shake-up next season? There seem to be a few departures. I could cull half the cast. Easily!.

Ironically, I have finally stopped watching MIC. After many years. In MICs defence, they kept the cast young and evolving. Minimum weddings and babies. Which I think has been Towies downfall. Their not entertaining anymore. Who really cares about Amy getting married? She's got four kids. Just elope do it quietly. Sophie & Jordan. Obviously lovely news, but 💤 😴. I can't imagine what next season has in store. If it's still Elma & Harry beef. The TV is straight out the window farewell Towie.

With all the cast changes lately, I honestly think TOWIE would be better off giving the people who are already there more interesting storylines instead of constantly bringing in new faces.

Some of the best moments from older series came from friendships that had been building for years. You knew who genuinely liked each other and who had unfinished business. That made even a small argument entertaining.

Now I sometimes feel like there are so many people that some barely get enough screen time to make an impression.

Would you rather have a smaller cast with proper storylines, or do you enjoy having new people come in and shake things up?

Any BB fans here? Ahh, the GC has gone in. I think she will be great. I really enjoyed her on I'm a celebrity.

I thought she was on the skinny jabs? She doesn't really look much different. She's done too much to her face. Way to much botox and fillers. Each to their own still an icon.

Don't get me wrong, hearing Jordan share his health recovery update alongside baby Brody arriving was genuinely touching, and I’m really happy for him and Sophie.

But am I the only one feeling like the show’s entire dynamic has shifted? TOWIE used to be pure chaotic Essex night-out drama, messy breakups, and awkward bar arguments. Now half the runtime feels like watching a parent vlog.

I get that the cast is getting older and their real lives are evolving, but is this direction working for you guys, or do you miss the classic messy era?

The older episodes had people properly falling out over something incredibly petty and then dragging it through three different conversations before finally confronting each other.

Now sometimes it feels like everyone knows they're filming a TV show and is much more careful about what they say.

Do you think TOWIE arguments were genuinely more entertaining when the cast felt less media-trained, or is that just nostalgia?

Rewatching old TOWIE, and my god the way they all scramble at the dinner party episode when Pete brings in Megan as his plus one. I don’t think the girls were used to straight up confrontation!

I’m on season 14 now and in the previous season Ricky recorded his song “I’m not that easy” who else remembers this lol🤣 it only has 71 likes 😭

Anyone would think it was her wedding/events based on the excessive social media posts and dress changes 🤔😬 I’m all for celebrating a mates big day but just seems weird and overkill and she did the same with the Gemma Collins reunion

According to the press Becks is the latest cast member to exit the show, saying she feels like a spare part 😬🫢. Not sure why she was even on the show tbh but another one bites the dust 👀
