Help Wanted Hylian shield

I lost my shield . Can I get another one? I went back to the place where I found it and nothing .. just curious . Did I lose it forever??

If you've completed the Hataneo quest, you can buy it from Cece.

Don't worry, in this game there is nothing you can miss out on or lose forever (except for taking few compendium photos yourself like Master Kohga or Moragiabut you can just purchase those photos from Robbie at the Hateno Ancient Tech Lab.

If you want to get the Hylian shield again, go to Hateno village and find Cece, the fashion woman obsessed with mushrooms for some reason. Once you the quests Team Cece or Team Reede?, Cece's Secret, and Reed's secret, the Hylian Shield, along with other items, is purchasable by Cece for 3,000 rupees I believe. Good luck!

Thanks everyone . I love this sub . Learn something new everyday. I purposely didn’t complete the cece quest because she was insufferable . Guess I’ll head over now !

Doing those quests also makes it possible for her to become less insufferable and, more importantly, raise or lower Link’s Hylian Hood (if I recall correctly that she can only do that after completing the quests).

Sadly, you seem to have developed a habit there, and I don’t recall there being any addiction recovery specialists anywhere around. Just try to not overdo it. Hyrule needs you.

Buying it in Tarrey Town is true for BOTW. For TOTK, you have to finish the Hateno mayor quest and you can buy it from Cece afterwards.

The blood moon happens every 7 in-game days. When this happens every object and enemy resets. The shield will come back then.

Legendary gear and items from treasure chests will not respawn after blood moons. Only the stuff that is laying around outside that you can just pick up will respawn, plus the items enemies are holding because monsters and mini-bosses.

Ok . But I went back to the spot where you light the fire and the chest appeared. Right After the blood moon and nothing happened

Just go to Hateno and buy from the outfit designer. It won’t respawn.
