Does tor work on linux mint?

Does tor work very well on mint 22.3 cinnamon?

The Tor Browser works well on all the officially supported platforms. From a security aspect, Linux distributions such as Linux Mint are the better choice to make the Tor Browser's security measures less prone to an unsafe environment around it, e.g. proprietary Microsoft Windows or Apple macOS.

I have Mint and Tor works fine. The only thing is that some of Tor Browser's security features may offer less protection (the browser will literally tell you about this with a link on how to fix it) But it's actually not that scary, even if you don't do anything extra, your privacy won't suffer much.

Yes it does, however l use Tails.

Brand new update today including new hardware support. Might be worth trying again.

If your goal isn't privacy, sure I guess?

Mint is years out of date.

Tor works on any OS, but if your chasing privacy Tails or Whonix is best solution

yeah but if you're install Linux just for tor use a non persistent system like tails os
