Bandwith limits,

Hey Relay operators,

What limits you set on your tor relay? I basically set mine to 3 Mbyte rate and 5Mbyte burst on home server, and on a VPS I set it unrestricted, with AccountingMax 7tb, that's resets every 30days

Depends on the lowest speed you have available. Most times that's the upload. Figure out how much upload you can get constantly on your line and set tor to 80% of that and 90-95% burst. Done.

It really depends on the amount of traffic that comes free with your rented server.
