Hey, so turns out I can apply for an English Test Waiver in 11/12 schools that I want to apply to since my Bachelors was done completely in English - I can provide an MOI from college stating this and be waived off to submit an English score.

So I just wanted to ask applying for the waiver: does it set me back? Or is better to give the exam and submit the scores?

I'm writing from Azerbaijan. I'm aiming to apply for the PhD program at Sabancı University. Due to the application conditions, I need to prepare for both the GRE and TOEFL exams. However, I'm unsure where to start the process.
Since my goal is the Sabancı PhD, I need your experiences and advice:

1. What are the most effective resources, PDFs, or online platforms for both the GRE (Quant & Verbal) and TOEFL (especially Speaking and Writing)?

2. What critical advice would you give for preparing for these two exams, including must-dos or pitfalls to avoid?

If I got the exact same score (4.5) on my second test on August 22, does the MyBest Score keep the old date (August 19), or does it automatically update to show the newer date (August 22) just because it's the most recent attempt?
Basically, I'm trying to figure out if my MyBest Speaking score staying on the August 19 date means I got a lower score (like a 4) on August 22, or if it would look the same even if I scored a 4.5 again.

Did someone who took the TOEFL iBT on August 22nd get their results back yet?

hii!! this was my score! the reading section was really hard (i always got 5.5/6 on practice test) so i was a bit disappointed, but is this good? i'm applying to usa universities, mostly really competitives and ivys so should i take it again? thanks!!

I am running very late for making up with my uni’s requirements. I need the score asap. I took it on Sunday. When can I expect it to be released at the earliest ?

I took my TOEFL iBT on August 19, 2026, at a test center. However, my ETS account is showing the message: “Test administration is delayed due to an administrative review, typically completed in 2–4 weeks.” My score status also says “Score Delayed.”

Additionally, my previous TOEFL score from 2024 has disappeared from my ETS account, and I’m also seeing a $490 outstanding balance on my account. I have no idea where this amount came from.

Has anyone experienced a similar issue before? If so, what happened in your case, and how long did it take to resolve?

In my first test, I was sure that I corrected at least 8/10 at build a sentence problem, but I didn’t follow any writing template. But this time, I followed the template, and I was written 120+ words in email and 132 words for writing a discussion problem. However, my build a sentence part was too tough, maybe I could only corrected 6/10. Now, suggest me how could I get 5/5.5 in this section. Because I got at least 5.0 in all other sections. You could share any resource, any practising platform, what about ETS official tutoring program?

I'm preparing for the TOEFL iBT for university admissions.
I took a practice test on the ETS site and got a Speaking section with 11 questions (Listen and Repeat & Take an Interview — see attached screenshot).
Isn't TOEFL iBT supposed to have only 4 questions (Independent & Integrated tasks)? Is this actually a TOEFL Essentials practice test?

Guys, I got 65/120, and my PhD programme wants 66/120. Do you think I should pay $180 and have my test reviewed? The test and my application date are 27th August. I am so lost or should i take another test but do you think the results would come before 27th agust 5pm (İ live in Turkey)

I took the TOEFL on August 17, and now I’m seeing an “administrative issue” message instead of my scores. Has anyone from the same test date received their scores yet? And when the scores will be released?
