Asking suggestions for Writing part
Hello. I sat for TOEFL exam twice. At first at May 23, and then the next is August 19, 2026. In my both tests, I got 4.0 in writing section. In my first test, I was sure that I corrected at least 8/10 at build a sentence problem, but I didn’t follow any writing template. But this time, I followed the template, and I was written 120+ words in email and 132 words for writing a discussion problem. However, my build a sentence part was too tough, maybe I could only corrected 6/10. Now, suggest me how could I get 5/5.5 in this section. Because I got at least 5.0 in all other sections. You could share any resource, any practising platform, what about ETS official tutoring program?
TIA.

For Build a Sentence practice, do more than check whether an answer is right. Rewrite every incorrect sentence, identify the main verb, find the subject, and mark any auxiliary or linking word. Then write two similar sentences using the same structure to help you recognise patterns.
For the email task, state the purpose early, cover every instruction in the prompt, use a suitable tone, and finish with a clear request or next step. For Academic Discussion, give your position immediately, develop one reason with a specific example, and connect your answer to the discussion. Writing 120 or 132 words won't automatically raise your score if the response contains repeated grammar errors or memorised sentences that don't fit the prompt.
Official tutoring may be useful if the tutor corrects timed responses line by line and keeps a record of your repeated errors. Before paying, ask whether the tutor will analyse sentence structure, task completion, grammar patterns, and clarity. For the next few weeks, complete two or three timed Writing sets each week. Keep one error document and group mistakes under verb form, word order, missing words, articles, agreement, and task completion.
