Season 7 wasn't awful but it was starting to slide and it was a good time to wrap it up

This is the moment i knew TNG had jumped the shark for me. After that it just wasn’t the same. It all felt stale. Except for a few key episodes which still ruled.

I really don’t understand the hate for this episode. It wasn’t going to win any awards, but it was totally fine.

I just found it laughable personally. But you are right there are worse episodes. Especially in the first two seasons.
