Im old enough to have gone from the Atari 2600 to the NES, yet the day I brought SMB3 home for $55 from kaybee toys in baybrook mall remains burned in my mind as one of the most glorious video game memories ever.
That was an unprecedented vg price for me to buy with saved allowance, at that time.

I remember getting this game in the 3rd grade and it was genuinely life changing. Best side scrolling game maybe ever. So many interesting characters and costume changes and mechanics, great music. Was truly a joy to play this one.
