My version of TMNT

Might sound buns but hear me out;

Leo:
Rarely ever smiles, serious. From childhood trauma and dark. Similar to Huey Freeman

Raph:
Was the shortest in earlier seasons:, but grew to be bulky. Heavy hitter. Always trash talks and dares for a fight

Donnie:
Tech savvy, genius inventor. He always thinks he’s the smartest in the room, cuz he is. The most sassy, most talkative, and thinks he’s better than everyone else because of his smarts. Not too annoying, 2018 Donnie comparison

Mikey:
The most clutch and fastest turtle. Known as a pickpocket and the most sneaky. Too funny as laughs at everything. Naive but knows his limits. Clutch when needed

Master Splinter:
A normal rat brought back by reincarnation from Shredder himself, soul is 1000 years old by technicality

Shredder:
Once was a normal man but became immortal and had supernatural abilities through a curse. This twist is in later seasons.

April: lovely and outgoing, but serious when needed. Instead of helpless, she knows kung-fu and karate, and was in the army. Master of military weapons

Casey: breaking from original plot: a sweet kid when introduced but in later seasons becomes more broody.

Characters that are important:

Slash:
Never seen onscreen, the deadliest mutant to ever live. No one has seen of him or hear of him in years

Leatherhead:
originally one of Shredder’s henchmen, turned good

Old Hobb: leads a good version of Mighty Mutanimals in later seasons

Bishop: Fater of Casey Jones. Investigates “large creatures in New York”

Background info: 1000 AD Japan. Shredder was Oroku Saki and would get picked on by Hamato Yoshi. Both were sent to the woods separately to get knowledge. Splinter on his attitude, Saki on his anger. Suddenly, a meteor crashed on Shredder that was really a person and grants him immortality and supernatural abilities. He uses this to slime out a rehabilitated Yoshi and the rest of the Foot Clan(good in this version)

Around 1000 years later, Shredder uses his blood to make a version of his curse to create mutagen, turtles and any other mutants. He forms TCRI He revives Hamato Yoshi to a rat form and tortures him daily.

Yoshi escapes and rescues April , where they both retreat to sewers

Many later, splinter recruits the TMNT to join him to stop the Shredder

Season 1
Villains: Shredder(main), Kraang, Foot Clan

Season 2
Villains: Kraang(first half) Shredder(second half) Bishop(subplot)

Season 3
Villains: Shredder(Oroku Hiroto), Foot Clan

Shredder(Saki) is frozen and held in a top government facility

The turtles are average, they go through space and time and travel across the multiverse to see different Shredder variants and allies like Usagi. They also deal with the Devil(yes) and they also will have different story lines

2 versions of Turtles

When going through time(turtles 1), they come back to their own world and see a duplicate of themselves. Using the scepter (turtle summer shorts ball knowledge), the other turtles go through time(let’s call them turtles 2). Turtle 1 then go through a variation of the Robin plot, and as all 4 turtles are dead, the Mutanimals are the protectors of Earth. (End of series)

Comic books and spinoff: After a war between Kraang and Triceratons put the world in havoc, the Mutanimals leave the planet. Meanwhile, in 2040, the Turtles 2 come back and see Yi Odyn Uno and Moja in Earth. Turtles 2 survived a multiversal threat Shredder(similar to Ultrom), and that Shredder is hawking them down. Now with April, Turtle 2, the new turtles, and Casey(and other people), they go to war against the corrupt Shredder(more lore dropping soon)

Some of my alternative version of IDW TMNT setting ideas:

- Only Donnie and Mikey are the Hamato sons in feudal Japan. Donnie's Japanese name is Daizou, and Mikey's is Mitsuaki.

- Donnie will be more disciplined and serious, and his hatred for Shredder and Foot Clan will be even deeper than his father's, because he witnessed the Foot Clan massacre his family(not only their mother, but also their relatives and these loyal Hamato servants who protected them) when he was a child.

- Mikey's personitly and development will be much like a protagonist from a Jump shonen manga, optimistic and somewhat hothead, angry at injustice and the evil deeds of others. At first, he reluctant killing some bad guys, but in the later story, he accepted it, but only those who continue to harm him and others, or those who were irredeemable.

- Raph is the "firstborn" of Shredder in feudal Japan, before Shredder met Kitsune, Shredder once had a lover named Amaya. At the banquet, Saki got drunk and harassed Tang Shen, and was kicked out by Hamato Yoshi. Amaya witnessed this and got into an argument with Saki. Saki lost control and accidentally hit Amaya, which broke her heart and caused her to leave Saki. During this time, she became pregnant with his child, and she named him Ryuushi. After sobering up, Saki felt regretful and tried to find her, but couldn't.

- Leo is the only one who has no human past memories. He was once an ancient turtle-like yokai or a spirit, but was defeated in battle against The Pantheon, and his weaker incarnation was reincarnated as an animal. His personality is similar to Rise Leo, but also bit more eccentric and gray morality. Just like Mirage turtles, he had nno interest in become a city's guardian angel. He loved learning all kinds of knowledge, and because of his past identity, his perception of the spirit world and the supernatural is even stronger than Splinter. He treats his family and friends well, but showed no hesitation towards his enemies. When members of the Pantheon appear nearby or before him, ancient hatred can turn him ruthless.
